June 13th 2024 - 1717 Demonstration Team Visit Freemasons Hall, Great Queen Street, London
Royal Colonial Institute Lodge 3556 invited the popular 1717 Demonstration Team to perform a 1717-style First Degree Ceremony. Half of the team is made up of members of Lodge of St. Augustine 8459. The performance was received with great warmth and praise.
March 9th 2024 - Isle of Wight social visit for breakfast.
On Saturday morning, the Worshipful Master and Junior Warden, accompanied by fellow Mason John, and their close protection officer Hayley took the fast ferry to the Isle of Wight for a hearty breakfast and a walk around Cowes. After breakfast John bought a pair of morning suit trousers from a charity shop, the JW fell in the sea and the WM laughed so much he almost forgot to help him get out the water.
Then they visited the HQ of Medina Lodge No.35, founded 15 years after the Premier Grand Lodge in 1717 - one of the oldest Lodges in the world. The JW remained soggy throughout.
